The problem
Fans watching a live game have questions the broadcast doesn’t answer on demand: who’s carrying the scoring, what just happened on that call, how a player is shooting tonight. A general-purpose chatbot will answer confidently and sometimes wrongly, which is worse than no answer during a live game.
What it does
The assistant runs in a panel next to the stream. You can type a question or tap a key moment, from pregame tunnel fits through the biggest plays of the fourth quarter, and get an answer about that moment. Team stats and play-by-play sit in tabs beside the video.
How it works
- Grounding: answers are limited to the context the assistant has been given, such as the live box score and the rulebook, rather than whatever the model remembers.
- Visible context: a panel under the chat shows exactly what the model is answering from at each turn. The app labels it an anti-hallucination monitor: if the answer isn’t supported by what’s in that panel, it shouldn’t be given.
- Developer mode: a toggle exposes the system context for anyone evaluating how the assistant reasons.
